Woodhouse launches DST Software
Decision Support Tools Ltd (DSTL), a division
of the Woodhouse Partnership, launches its award-winning software to address over 40 types of asset management decisions, ranging across the justification and optimal timing for capital investments, inspections, maintenance, testing, spares, shutdowns, modifications, renewals and decommissioning.
Strategic Asset Life-cycle Value Optimisation (SALVO)
The Woodhouse Partnership mobilised, managed and led the international SALVO collaboration project, researching and developing best practices in optimal
decision-making. The SALVO Project was
a 4-year cross-sector R&D collaboration
that addressed best practices in decision-making for asset management. The results of the project combine the best of existing methods with human psychology, practical business processes and advanced analytics for targeting, evaluating and optimising asset interventions.
The SALVO Project was runner-up in the 2013 IET Innovation Award, a worldwide search for the best of creative talent and significant new developments.
Development of the ISO 55000 series begins
We represent the UK on the international standards, the 55000 series which now involves over 30 countries in consensus building about what is needed in good joined up asset management. Developing and Maintaining a SAMP
The Woodhouse Partnership authors and sponsors the IAM guidance on strategic asset management planning: “Developing and Maintaining a Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP)”. Developed to provide guidance for organisations who manage physical assets, and who wish to put in place or improve an existing management system for asset management. It sets out a practical and pragmatic approach to the development of a SAMP or Asset Management Strategy, that will conform with ISO 55001 requirements and clarify priorities, align stakeholders and deliver the best possible value to the organization.
